Each Filgood men's swimsuit is produced using 4 water bottles:

Recycling 1 kg of polyester avoids 40% of CO2 emissions, knowing that a recycled material emits 40 to 99% less co2 emissions than a virgin material. The yarn used for the garment is made of 50% recycled plastic bottles and 50% organic cotton, which means that 1 woven t-shirt = 4 recycled bottles. In summary, recycled clothing probably represents the future of fashion

For the collection ofrecycled clothing Filgood collection, we used recycled polyester from reclaimed PET plastic bottles. Recycled polyester is used to reinforce a mesh. This reduces our dependence on fossil fuels (oil) and allows plastic bottles to be recycled rather than incinerated. Furthermore, using recycled materials requires less energy and reduces the eutrophication of fresh water.

All our textile products are made of organic cotton, printed or embroidered in France!

Organic cotton is grown organically with natural compost to replace chemical fertilizers and pesticides. It is GMO-free and uses 50% less water for its production than conventional cotton. Organic cotton, which is used in the production of our recycled clothing, is therefore much less water-intensive, as it uses far fewer chemicals.

Chlorine and chemical brighteners are notably banned during the bleaching of cotton, which is done with hydrogen peroxide, much less harmful to the planet and to our skin.

The Monsieur TSHIRT recycled clothing collection is manufactured between Porto, for the recycled thread and the confection, and Bordeaux for the marking and the pattern making. A short circuit highlights the reduction of the carbon footprint of the brand.

How to match your swim shorts?

There are different ways to match shorts:

- For a gray short, you have many possibilities. If it's a light gray, you can match it with a black tshirt or a navy blue tee shirt (favor dark colors for the top if you wear a rather light bottom). Conversely if it's a dark gray short, you can also dare the total gray look to make you a stylish and comfortable set.

- For a navy blue short, here again you have multiple choices to complete your outfit. A white or light grey t-shirt will be perfect to brighten up your outfit. Be careful, if you want a total look make sure it's the same color tones for the t-shirt and the shorts. We don't recommend pairing these blue swim shorts with a black top, navy blue and black rarely work together.
